The Limehouse Link Tunnel and The Highway provide access to the City and the West End. The Blackwall and Rotherhithe Tunnels provide a link across the river to south London.
The A13 has been progressively enhanced in recent years and now provides a three lane highway from Canary Wharf to the M25
Canary Wharf has 6,000 car parking spaces of which 2,500 are provided within public car parks. Canary Wharf also provides pedal and motor cycle parking at several locations.
Canary Wharf is well served by taxis with a total of 11 taxi ranks that operate 24 hours a day.
PLANNED ROAD CLOSURES*
Notifications of planned road closures on the Estate will appear here. Note also that these can occur at short notice however, every effort will be made to update this information when known.
From 2pm on Friday 28 June until 5am on Monday 15 July: Cabot Square Retail West Slip Road will be closed during the times outlined above as it is turned into a pedestrianised zone for the Wimbledon fortnight. The roadway will be covered in artificial grass with picnic tables placed out. There will be vehicle mitigation deployed at the entry & exit. There will be no TfL disruption
From 12midnight on Sunday 14 July until 5am on Monday 19 August: Upper Bank Street northbound lanes including the central taxi rank be closed during the times outlined above to facilitate the stage installation and summer events series with live performances for Canada Square Park.
ONGOING BANK STREET CLOSURES*: Due to ongoing construction projects, the western end of Bank Street will remain closed to vehicular traffic until further notice. Both lanes of the Westferry Circus southern ramp have now reopened to traffic following services diversion works; TfL have been advised and have amended their bus routes in order to service the Estate.
