The Limehouse Link tunnel and The Highway provide access to the City and the West End. The Blackwall and Rotherhithe tunnels provide a link across the river to south London.

The A13 is a three-lane highway from Canary Wharf to the M25 orbital motorway which in turn connects to all the main routes out of London.

Canary Wharf has 6,000 car parking spaces of which 2,500 are provided within public car parks. Canary Wharf also provides pedal and motor cycle parking at several locations.

Canary Wharf is well served by taxis with a total of 11 taxi ranks that operate 24 hours a day.

PLANNED ROAD CLOSURES*

Notifications of planned road closures on the Estate will appear here. Note also that these can occur at short notice however, every effort will be made to update this information when known.

From 3pm on Friday 13 January until 12noon on Monday 30 January: Water Street will be closed from the junction of Park Drive to the junction of Charter Street during the times outlined above to facilitate the Winter Lights event. All residents wishing to access / egress the Wood Wharf residential estate during this period will still use the Water Street road bridge and Charter Street via Park Drive, George Street onto Charter Street to exit out through Churchill Place and Cartier Circle. The Montgomery Square new road will also be closed for the same period.

There will be no TfL disruption.

From 12midnight on Sunday 15 January until 7am on Tuesday 31 January: Cabot Place West Slip Road will be closed during the times outlined above to facilitate the Winter Lights event. Hostile vehicle mitigation will be placed out at both entry / exit of the slip junctions.

From 8am on Saturday 4 February until 8pm on Saturday 4 February and from 8am on Sunday 5 February until 8pm on Sunday 5 February: Bank Street entry and exit roads will be closed from the junction of Westferry Road to the east side of 5 Bank Street loading bay slip road in both directions during the times outlined above to facilitate security blocker and barrier testing. Vehicle access will be maintained to 1 – 5 Bank Street loading bay and car park entrance via Upper Bank street to Bank Street using the same route to exit from the building. Vehicle access to One Newfoundland Place will be via Westferry Road using the service / parking area at the rear of the building.

TfL is aware and will amend its bus routes accordingly.
