In 2024, the Wharf secured its position as the UK’s number one shopping destination according to Green Street experts in commercial real estate. We welcomed 40 new retail, leisure and hospitality establishments, helping to draw over 70 million visitors throughout the year. However, 2025 is shaping up to be even more exciting, with a truly eclectic mix of brands and businesses coming to the neighbourhood.

For example, golf enthusiasts will love Pitch Golf, offering indoor golfing with food, drinks and late-night DJ slots for the adventurous, while wellness seekers can discover ARC, London’s first social wellness club, featuring the UK’s largest sauna. Meanwhile, foodies rejoice as Din Tai Fung comes to town, crowned the ultimate dumpling destination by Forbes and TimeOut, it’s coming to Crossrail Place imminently.

Hole in one: Pitch Golf

Opening in February 2025

Pitch Golf is the modern way to play this favourite sport. Perfect your swing and socialise with friends, colleagues, or clients, whether you’re enjoying an evening out, a special occasion, or a meeting with a twist. Their new site at 30 Churchill Place will be an all-singing, all-dancing 14,500 sq ft destination complete with 11 state-of-the-art golf bays, two bars, shuffleboards, an 18 Greens restaurant, and Trendy Golf’s first European concept store. Enjoy lively entertainment, handcrafted cocktails, and stylish surroundings with plenty of fun and games.

Feel the heat: ARC

Opening end of January 2025

2025 is the year that wellbeing got social, with the arrival of ARC’s flagship destination in Canary Wharf. ARC is an all-new urban wellness brand blending community and evidence-based wellbeing to city dwellers. Featuring the UK’s largest sauna (big enough for up to 65 people), custom made ice baths, an amphitheatre-style lounge, as well as audio and multisensory elements for an immersive experience, it will also transform into a vibrant social space with DJs and events on select evenings.

Dumpling destination: Din Tai Fung

Opening February 2025

Founded by Mr Bing-Yi Yang in Taiwan, Din Tai Fung has an international reputation for serving, amongst other things, the ‘World’s Greatest Dumplings’. With signature dishes also including xiao long baos and steamed chicken soup, over 60 years the team has redefined Chinese cuisine. From humble beginnings, today the global brand boasts a Michelin star and more than 170 restaurants – soon to include a brand new location on Crossrail Place. From dining with friends to celebrating special occasions, or enjoying time with colleagues, it’s set to be a firm favourite. For those who want a truly unique experience, you can even book one of their Masterclass experiences for between eight and 10 people, to learn how to make your very own Xiao Long Bao Soup dumplings.

A celebrity favourite and a hallmark of good taste, Diptyque has been bringing its immense artistry to the world from Paris’s bohemian Saint-Germain-des-Prés, since the 1960s. Known for their unmistakable brand and scents, the brand embodies craftsmanship and impeccable style from candles to perfumes, bath and body products, with classic essences and new favourites like their buttery Amande candle making their way into our hearts and homes. Born of natural ingredients directly from Switzerland, life is sweet this spring as Läderach comes to Canary Wharf. Famous for their aromatic cocoa beans and unique chocolatey creations, the brand has been bringing their A-game for three generations. Since 1962, the once small chocolate factory in Glarus is now represented in more than 20 countries around the world, inviting you to indulge in unimaginably good truffle selections and unique offerings such as their FrischSchoggi slabs of deliciousness – try their Florentine Milk for a total treat.
