National Theatre Live: Dr Strangelove

This August Bank Holiday, join us at our Summer Screens for an afternoon of theatre.

Seven-time BAFTA Award-winner Steve Coogan plays four roles in the world premiere stage adaptation of Stanley Kubrick’s comedy masterpiece Dr. Strangelove. When a rogue U.S General triggers a nuclear attack, a surreal race takes place, seeing the Government and one eccentric scientist scramble to avert global destruction.

This explosively funny satire is led by a world-renowned creative team led including Emmy Award-winner Armando Iannucci (The Thick of It, Veep) and Olivier Award-winner Sean Foley (The Upstart Crow).

This screening is free to attend and no ticket is needed, simply bring along your picnic blanket and any snacks or refreshments and settle in for an afternoon of top theatrical entertainment. You will find Waitrose across the road or a number of surrounding bars and restaurants will be open throughout the afternoon and into the evening.
