Faith Events – Ramadan & Eid

Ramadan in Islam, is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and the holy month of fasting and prayer.

The light installation in the heart of Jubilee Park is in recognition of this special time for our Muslim community.

The five-pointed star reflects the Five Pillars of Islam which are central to the faith, and the crescent moon relates to the greatness of the creator.

Those observing Ramadan are invited to join us at the light in Jubilee Park on Friday 28 March, 5:30-6:30pm where we will be handing out gifts and treats for breaking fast.

Prayer Space during Ramadan

We are pleased to be working with Canary Wharf Islam once again to facilitate prayer space for our people and customers during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Canary Wharf Prayer Room at Churchill Place will host Three Jummah (Friday Prayer) sessions with the Khutba (sermon) starting at:

Friday, 7th March

12:15pm, 12:45pm and 1:15pm

There is a venue capacity of 100 people per session, if the slot you arrive for is full you will have to wait until the next if we have reached capacity.

Filming & Photography

Filming and photography take place at most Canary Wharf events. Our film and photography staff will wear vests to clearly identify themselves. If you have any concerns about being photographed or filmed, please speak to staff onsite.
