In August 2019, the quintessentially British sport of lawn bowls got a 21st Century makeover as Festibowl rolled into Montgomery Square.
Imagine the feeling of grass beneath your feet, lawn bowl in one hand, an ice-cold drink in the other; there’s blue skies above, it’s a breezy summer’s day and you’re surrounded by your friends and colleagues as classic tunes echo around you. This is Festibowl – a fun, social and much faster version of the classic British game.
