Original Form was made specifically for Canary Wharf as a part of the Millennium exhibition The Shape of the Century, and subsequently purchased for the collection.Keith Rand (1956-2013) studied sculpture at Winchester School of Art.
He moved to Scotland in 1984, returning to the south west of England in 1996. He established his reputation for innovative sculpture and sensitively informed landscape works inspired by the natural world, he realised his sculptural ideas through his poetic vision and technical rigour.
