Enjoy the festive and community spirit
A special service for those working in and around Canary Wharf and their families.
Choirs made up of leading Canary Wharf-based companies perform at the spectacular East Wintergarden, with hundreds of beautiful Christmas lights and handheld candles.
All proceeds from this years’ service will go to support charities focusing on the prevention of knife crime and young people at risk of joining gangs. These charities will be local charity St. Giles Trust and international charity The Favela Foundation.
- St. Giles Trust’s SOS+ Project is currently working in the Tower Hamlets area carrying out vital work in schools and pupil referral units with young people at risk of involvement in gangs and serious youth violence, offering group work and one-to-one sessions for young people who need added support.
- The Favela Foundation work with young people in Brazil who are at risk being recruited into gangs or being killed in violent knife crimes incidents. Brazil is number one in the World for homicidal violence, over 56,000 people dying violently each year. Most of these are young black boys.
