Our Short Story Stations have been part of Canary Wharf since 2019, printing hundreds of thousands of short stories and poems for visitors to enjoy. Through partnerships, newly commissioned work, and selections from Short Edition’s extensive catalogue, our stations offer a rich and ever-evolving collection of writing.

Dotted throughout Canary Wharf, the stations invite readers to pause and enjoy a moment of escape during their day. From classics by authors such as Virginia Woolf and Lewis Carroll to contemporary voices you may not yet have discovered, the stations showcase a diverse and exciting range of stories and poems from writers around the world, spanning genres and themes.

Simply choose your preferred reading time of one, three, or five minutes at any of our three locations across Canary Wharf, and the station will print a story selected at random for you to enjoy.
