Favourites include the Colour Changing One with Ketel One vodka, Briottet apple, soda, citrus and a little bit of magic. Or perhaps you might prefer a Lava Lamp – blending Koko Kanu rum, coconut and pineapple, Appleton signature rum, citrus, Prosecco, pineapple caviar and a few disco lights for good measure. Did you know The Alchemist serves food as well? And throughout Winter Lights, you can enjoy a big 40% off your total food bill when you book in advance.
Waterfront wine at Humble Grape
Head to Humble Grape for a waterfront wine bar famous for its commitment to sustainable, independent vineyards. What they don’t know about wine (and what to pair it with) isn’t worth knowing, and they happily impart their wisdom with flair. Visit for a glass of wine, small plates, nibbles and main courses including a feast of vegan fare to pair with your preferred poison.

Signature specials at The Cocktail Club
As the name suggests, The Cocktail Club is an exclusive, dynamic and vibrant space for eating and drinking in style. Located in Cabot Square, head to the bar for world-class cocktails – which are two for £12 during happy hour every day of the week, as well as its generous daily specials which run all night long. Signature cocktails are definitely worth a try, especially their Southside Royal laced with Prosecco, gin, and just a hint of absinthe.
Jazz it up at Boisdale

The two -floor venue has a terrace with views of the city skyline. The Hine Bar is known for having one of London’s greatest cocktail lists, including eight unique Hine cocktails. Botanical beauty at Pergola On The Wharf
Amidst the botanical beauty of Pergola On The Wharf, enjoy dinner, cocktails and staying out ’til late, as well as their panoramic views of the north dock. Amidst the flowers, ferns and vines, explore their inspiring cocktail list, from a smoked pineapple daiquiri to a spiced cranberry margarita or a pecan espresso martini. They also have a collection of non-alcoholic mocktails – we love their ginger mojito. And during Winter Lights, you can get a free drink when you download the Canary Wharf app.

Champagne cocktails at The Lowback
Steak and cocktails are the order of the day at The Lowback, Hawksmoor’s water-level, atmospheric bar. The name literally means to push the boat out, and they really do. Take a seat at the nine-metrelong bar flanked by a dark green marble floor, polished timber ceiling and velvet booths. Enjoy the view of the water outside with a cantaloupe Bellini in hand, or perhaps a Southside Spritz with East London Liquor Co. Gin, elderflower, olive, lime, Prosecco and soda.
