Beginning life selling leftover candles from the Royal Household of Queen Anne, we very quickly made a name for ourselves thanks to our extraordinary food and unforgettable service. We’re the inventors of the Scotch Egg, we’ve created tea fit for a king, and we’ve even fuelled expeditions up Mount Everest. Little wonder Charles Dickens declared that, ‘Look where I will… I see Fortnum & Mason. All the hampers fly wide open and the green downs burst into a blossom of lobster salad!’

Since then, we’ve spread our wings and opened several stores across the capital all the way to Hong Kong. And inside each one, our shelves are stocked with the things that makes Fortnum’s so extraordinary, from our joy-filled hampers – instantly recognisable by their iconic F&M stamp of approval – to our wide selection of teas, utterly delectable and dunkable biscuits, our celebrated selection of wine and champagne, and much, much more.

We love our tea in all forms, but if over 300 years of tea expertise has taught us anything about our favourite brew, it’s that loose leaf tea really is the best. Picked, packed and produced using traditional techniques for ultimate freshness, each caddy of Fortnum’s loose leaf tea is of exceptional quality – and there are so many to discover in our stores.

And teatime at Fortnum’s has never been a strictly conventional affair, particularly when enjoyed with some of our bigger biscuits on offer. The biscuits in our Lossus collection, simply put, are so extraordinarily enormous that they are near-impossible to not be the main event. We have chocolatey biscuits, oaty ones, fiery ginger treats and more.
