Easter on the Wharf
Our favourite ways to spend Easter on the Wharf
There is so much to do in London over Easter, why not make the most of it in Canary Wharf? Here’s what to do, where to eat and how to make the most of your long weekend, whether you’re with friends, family, or a bank holiday date.
Foodie Favourites
From sweet treats to sumptuous Sunday roasts, brilliant brunches to delectable dinners, and all the bits in between, there’s a world of flavour to explore on the Wharf this Easter. Here are some of our foodie favourites.
Tradition with a twist at Blacklock
Come the end of the week, things take on a different rhythm at Blacklock. The grills are packed away, and in their place, whole joints of meat are hung and gently roasted over open coals, just as they once were. This Easter, gather with family and friends for a long, leisurely lunch filled with the comforting aromas of slow-roasted joints, seasonal sides, and the kind of laughter that only comes from being together. And no Easter is complete without a slice of their indulgent cheesecake — the perfect finish to a feast that brings everyone to the table.
Easter Feasting at Humble Grape
Serving up its signature Sunday roasts, with all the comforting flavours you’d expect from a proper roast, perfectly cooked meats, crispy potatoes, and all the trimmings. It’s the kind of meal that makes Easter indulgence feel entirely justified. To make things even better, groups dining together can enjoy £35 off their wine bill when booking a table for four or more. Families are also firmly on the menu this season. Humble Grape has just introduced a brand-new children’s menu, including a kid-friendly roast for just £12.50, making it easier for everyone at the table to join in.
A dumpling Easter egg at Din Tai Fung
For something truly unique this Easter, Din Tai Fung has unveiled a limited Easter collection running from 9th March to 6th April, where craft meets indulgence. At the centre is the Chocolate & Mochi Xiao Long Bao — an 18-fold dessert dumpling featuring a delicate layer of mochi encasing a molten core of 66% Valrhona chocolate, reminiscent of an Easter egg. Each is served with a sea salt cream dip for added indulgence. A basket of Easter “eggs” the Din Tai Fung way: warmer, silkier, and best enjoyed with chopsticks.
To pair with the dessert, Din Tai Fung has chosen refreshing sparkling teas by Saicho, where timeless tea craftsmanship meets sparkling innovation. The Hojicha Sparkling Tea from Shizuoka’s coastal mountains offers roasted hazelnut depth and gentle smoke, while the Osmanthus Sparkling Tea — made with Tie Guan Yin oolong from Xianyou and scented with golden blossoms — delivers notes of apricot, apple and cucumber. For those looking for a little more indulgence, the Roasted Mango Punch blends East Hyogo Gin, Laphroaig Whisky, Saicho Hojicha, mango, lime and demerara sugar into a low-alcohol cocktail that is smoky, tropical and quietly complex.
Bottomless Brunch at Roe
Champions of British ingredients and a nose-to-tail, root-to-stem approach, Roe is going all out this Easter with a special Bottomless Brunch, available for the Easter weekend only. Expect seasonal dishes and thoughtfully sourced produce—full details will be revealed जल्द, so keep an eye on Roe’s channels.
Soul, Jazz & Easter Feasting at Boisdale
Celebrate the long weekend in style at Boisdale. On Saturday 4 April, guests can choose between the Saturday Soul Lunch on the second floor or the lively Saturday Brunch Club downstairs. On Easter Sunday 5 April, enjoy a traditional roast accompanied by live jazz—think timeless Frank Sinatra classics—or opt for the Sunday Soul Sessions Brunch on the first floor for a more upbeat vibe.
Family Fun at Feels Like June
Easter celebrations are in full swing at Feels Like June. Alongside seasonal cocktails, there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained from 3–6 April. Expect face painting during brunch, a chocolate Easter egg hunt for children (complete the word to win a prize), and a colour-coded egg hunt for adults with discounts and surprises to be won. There’s also an egg decorating competition, with the best creation taking home a voucher to spend at the restaurant.
Kids Dumplings Masterclasses at Din Tai Fung
During the Easter holidays from 30th March, Din Tai Fung is launching a series of Kids Dumplings Masterclasses — a brilliant way to ignite your little chef’s culinary passion. Tailored for children aged 9–12 and suitable for all skill levels, the masterclass is the perfect blend of fun and education. Under the guidance of professional chefs, little ones will learn how to roll and shape dumplings, starting with simpler techniques and advancing to the signature Xiao Long Bao. After crafting their dumplings, the little chefs will enjoy tasting their own creations alongside the renowned Xiao Long Bao — a truly delicious learning experience.
