London’s leading Eastern Mediterranean restaurant group Brother Marcus, founded by hospitality duo and friends since school Tas Gaitanos and Alex Large, is set to open a new restaurant in Canary Wharf this summer – bringing its signature brunch, mezze, cocktails and Eastern Med wines to the heart of London’s bustling financial district. All new to this site will be ‘souvla and skewers’ – a Greek favourite – cooked over an open-fire grill, and adding a touch of theatre to the menu.
True to its roots, Brother Marcus’ Canary Wharf outpost will bring the same bold, flavour-forward modern Eastern Mediterranean dishes that have made the brand a favourite among Londoners. Breakfast will be served from 8am until 12pm on weekdays, before moving on to Brother Marcus’ all-day mezze sharing dishes for lunch and dinner. On weekends brunch will be served until 4pm. Cocktails, and a Greek-focused wine list, will be served alongside specialty coffee and fresh smoothies available all day.
