This summer we are welcoming The Greenhouse Theatre, the UK’s first zero waste performance space, to Jubilee Park. This pop-up venue, made entirely from found and recycled materials, will host a series of performances and events all aimed at encouraging conversation about the climate crisis.
As part of this programme, we are delighted to be hosting three family-friendly events to help teach even the youngest audience members about climate change.
All of the events are free but spaces are limited so please book your space in advance using the links below.
Join us for a fun storytime session led by Greenhouse’s Artistic Director Oli. In this collection of nature-based stories, you will find out about animals, plants and the world around us. Suitable for all ages.
Join us for a scavenger hunt adventure around Jubilee Park. Armed with a checklist, you will be asked to gather photos of all the wonderful nature the park has to offer. To take part you will need to be accompanied by an adult with a smartphone or camera. Suitable for ages 4+.
Join us for a sustainable crafting session. Learn to make a birdfeeder and a pen pot from items you may have thrown away! We will provide all the materials you need, simply turn up and create your masterpiece. Suitable for ages 4+
