Embark on a Spook-tastic Adventure

As dusk falls, Jubilee Park will come to life with ghoulish greenery, giant spiders and the odd surprise to delight children and adults alike. The free Smoke & Spiders immersive trail will take place each evening from 5pm to 9pm Friday 22 to Sunday 31 October, where you can capture the experience on camera for the ultimate spooky selfie snaps.

Warm the Cockles

Whether enjoying a hot drink as you walk down the Smoke & Spiders Halloween-themed trail or simply grabbing a drink while exploring the Estate, order a hot beverage from Notes Coffee Roasters & Bar and get a free kid’s hot chocolate at the same time. The offer is running daily from 23 to 31 October – what better incentive to get out and about.

Dance the Night Away

Stay out late on Friday 29 October with Pergola Lates at Pergola on the Wharf. Get into the spirit – pun intended! – as fancy dress is encouraged while Halloween-themed music will be played by guest DJs and a live saxophonist to get you into the party vibe. There’s no need for tickets nor is there an entry fee, simply book here for the place to be to party.

Experience the Ordinary Becoming the Extraordinary

Escape into a world where cocktails are enchanting and dishes are spellbinding at The Parlour’s Dreams & Magic themed autumn/winter season. Its new menus are about to cast some serious spells on you; think exquisite elixirs, sumptuous starters and marvellous mains. Read more about how you can make magical memories here.

Delight with a Halloween-themed Cocktail

The Alchemist knows how to do drama – after all its tagline is ‘theatre served’. The menu features the rum-based Dead Red Zombie that comes bubbling and billows smoke like a cauldron. Try this concoction and others by booking a table here for a night to remember.

Watch The Addams Family 2

Everyone’s favourite spooky family is back in the animated comedy sequel, The Addams Family 2. In this all-new film, Morticia and Gomez are distraught that their children are growing up, skipping family dinners, and totally consumed with ‘scream time’. Reserve your spot to watch this spooky spectacular on Everyman Cinema’s comfy sofas here.

Be a Hallowqueen

Let the fun begin as The Breakfast Club’s Strictly Come Drag Queens resumes this year at its Hallowqueen party. Expect freakish yet fabulous looks, monstrous mayhem, raucous routines and lots of dancing and ghoulish games. Fancy dress is an absolute must – anyone rocking up in their ordinary clothes will be subject to a gruesome forfeit. And make sure you dress to impress as on the night there will be mean queens checking outfits and judging partygoers to crown the best dressed.

Each £10 ticket includes a welcome drink and admittance to the party from 7pm onwards while food will be available to order all night long, as well as some scarily good drinks deals. Click here to book.

And finally… Spooky-themed Treats

Canary Wharf’s shops have an array of Halloween-themed goodies to enjoy. Charbonnel et Walker has these Spooky Halloween Truffles that you can indulge in while Hotel Chocolat’s collection features a Halloween Bites H-Box and Choose Your Poison, the latter of which its creations are served in a reusable glass flask. Meanwhile, Greggs has a selection of Halloween-themed cakes to choose from, as does Lola’s Cupcakes where sweet tooths will be impressed with its Halloween Boo! Brownies, Ghosts and Graves Layer Cake and Giant Milk Chocolate Halloween Cookie. Also, don’t miss Krispy Kreme’s Skremes hand-decorated spooky creations – pick from one of its many boxes here.

Finally, check out M&S Simply Food’s creations that include a letterbox gift and trick or treat gift bag while Waitrose & Partners has spellbinding sweets and creepy chocolates for little monsters – or just yourself, as well as Halloween decorations and party food. Dress your abode with decorations from Flying Tiger Copenhagen that has a range of ideas for the home, from pumpkin snack bowls to bat string lights, scull glasses to cobwebs, it’s sure to spook the neighbours!
