See & Do Guides
New to the Wharf
There’s never a dull moment on the Wharf with new, carefully selected neighbours joining the community all the time. As we step into spring there are some new kids on the block including great cafes and restaurants, shopping gems, entertainment and even somewhere to make your sneakers sparkle. Here are the brand new places you have to explore in Canary Wharf.
New cafés, bars and restaurants
Fancy a craft beer? Maybe you’re a street food fan? Or perhaps you’re a coffee connoisseur? We’ve got new arrivals for every occasion. From new London restaurants to Canary Wharf coffee shops, having opened in the last month, make sure you check out our favourite new haunts.
Nose-to-tail dining at Roe
Named after native deer of the British Isles, Roe will follow the same nose-to-tail and root-to-stem ethos as its critically-acclaimed sister restaurant, Fallow St James’s.
The extensive a la carte menu will be divided into nibbles and flatbreads, skewers and grilled options, with larger plates and sides also available. As well as championing modest, British ingredients, Roe’s dishes will showcase underused and underappreciated produce. Rare breed meats and carefully sourced fish from the British Isles are central to the menu, as well as regenerative crops like Wild farmed native grain.
Opening times at 12pm-10:30pm Monday to Sunday
Mouthwatering burgers at Burger King
Burger King, the iconic Home of the Whopper, has now opened its doors in Canary Wharf, joining the esteemed line-up in Atrium Kitchen. With a legacy spanning over 50 years, their dedication to quality ingredients, unique recipes, and welcoming atmosphere continues to shape their renowned brand.
Opening times are 9am until 9pm Monday to Sunday
Delight in gelato at Badiani
When the sun comes out you will be able to delight in gelato at Badiani’s new Cabot Place location. The vibrant purple shop is Badiani’s latest addition to Canary Wharf and is the perfect destination for those craving a sweet treat, an Italian coffee or one of their signature creative specialities such as their gelato croissant.
Opening times are 8am until 9pm Monday to Sunday

Caffeine fix at WatchHouse
We have recently celebrated the arrival of super stylish coffee connoisseurs, WatchHouse, in Canary Wharf. A place for those who value craft, provenance and quality, it’s situated in a unique building that combines contemporary and Georgian architectural styles. The name is an ode to the premises’ heritage and the goods that were once imported into the Docks, making it a unique addition to the coffee shops in East London.
Open 7am until 7pm for all your caffeinated needs.
