From outdoor cinema screenings to interactive workshops, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Film Club
Join us on Canada Square Park for our free summer Film Club, featuring a selection of family-friendly movies on selected Saturdays throughout July and August. Bring your picnic blankets, snacks, and drinks, and settle in for a delightful cinematic experience. Don’t miss out on classics like Monsters Inc and The Incredibles!
Alfresco Arts
Our Alfresco Arts series brings you a diverse range of activities, theatre performances, and workshops throughout the summer. The full programme includes plenty of family-friendly events that will captivate your little ones:
- Rocket Power (20 July): Embark on a space adventure with A Line Art’s interactive rocket-making workshop for children aged 3-8.
- Goldilocks (28 July): Let’s All Dance Ballet Company presents a charming performance of the classic fairy tale, suitable for all ages (recommended 2+).
- Finger Sports (3 August): Celebrate the Olympics with A Line Art’s exciting, interactive workshop based on artist Anna Bruder’s books, perfect for children aged 3+.
- Baby Broadway (11 August): Join West End singers for an engaging family concert filled with beloved songs from popular musicals and films, recommended for ages 0-7.
- The Big Dippers (18 August): Rhubarb Theatre’s vivacious Victorian characters bring you 30 minutes of slapstick adventure and summertime fun, recommended for ages 2+.

Children’s Art Trail
Discover 12 carefully selected artworks from our extensive collection with our revamped Children’s Art Trail, open all year round. Follow the map, complete the challenging tasks, and explore the hidden gem of Crossrail Place Roof Garden along the way.
Minigolf
Your family and friends to a game on our vibrant, one-of-a-kind Minigolf course at Montgomery Square, designed by artists Craig Redman & Karl Maier. Open from 12-6pm daily until the end of September, this picture-perfect course is free to play and suitable for all ages and abilities.
Family Gaming
Join us on 17 and 18 August for Family Gaming sessions, where you can enjoy a variety of family-friendly games on our big screens. Aimed at children aged 5+ and their families, these sessions are free to participate in and operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Flip Out
Step into a world of excitement at Flip Out with attractions including laser quest, interactive football, bumper cars, a roller rink, soft play, slides and much more. You’ll find Flip Out in Cabot Place open daily.
Family-Friendly Dining
Whilst you’re here why not pop into one of our family-friendly restaurants? Emilia’s Crafted Pasta in Wood Wharf makes soul-warming comfort food whilst Franco Manca in Crossrail Place offers seriously good value and tasty sourdough pizza. Wharf Kitchen in Jubilee Place is our vibrant street food quarter where you will discover dishes from around the word at any time of day. Alternatively, why not pick up a picnic from M&S Food or Waitrose and dine al fresco in one of our many parks and green spaces.
