Celebrity burger collaboration
Seoul Bird has launched a celebrity burger collaboration in partnership with CALM charity this summer
This summer, Judy Joo, the renowned Korean-American Londoner and founder of Seoul Bird, will launch a new celebrity burger collaboration in partnership with mental health and suicide prevention charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably). Teaming up with celebrities including stand-up comedian Phil Wang, rapper and TV personality Big Zuu, and singer and BBC Radio 1Xtra presenter Lady Leshurr, Seoul Bird will go on a world-wide flavour journey. The celebrities will put their spin on the restaurant’s signature chicken burger to create a line-up of mouth-watering specials, with 50p from each sale going to CALM.
- In July, presenter of Big Zuu’s Big Eats, Zuhair Hassan, has created Big Zuu’s Salone Sandwich incorporating flavours of his Sierra Leone heritage into his recipe
- In September, Lady Leshurr will draw on her British-Caribbean heritage with Lady Leshurr’s Island Bap
- In November, stand-up comedian and comedy writer Phil Wang, will take inspiration from his fond childhood memories in Malaysia for his fried chicken burger, The Wang Bang
