Canary Wharf Group is working hard to support and protect those key workers that must continue to travel to work during the current COVID-19 crisis, including those working in offices and retail stores and our own staff and suppliers during the current COVID-19 crisis.

Our priority remains everyone’s health and safety.

We are following advice from the UK Government and Public Health England, and in light of the further measures announced by the Prime Minister on Monday 23 March 2020 to further reduce the spread of the virus, we are prioritising critical maintenance, engineering, security, cleaning and estate management functions in order to maintain continuity of business and are confident that we will be able to continue fulfilling these key roles

As of Wednesday 25 March, a limited number of stores within our shopping malls remain open for business, including grocery stores and pharmacies, with all non-essential stores on the Estate directed to adhere to government advice regarding those businesses and premises required to close.

A list of stores that remain open can be viewed at the bottom of this page.

In our public realm and shopping malls we continue to take steps to protect those key workers who must continue to visit the Estate, which include:

  • An intensified cleaning regime concentrating on areas of high touch contact
  • Hand sanitisers at the entrance to the malls for those that must visit them
  • A revised staffing schedule to ensure continuity of security, cleaning and support coverage while dealing with reduced staffing numbers
  • Cancelling our own events and meetings as advised by Government

As and when any further measures are announced by UK Government, including any restrictions, we will respond accordingly.

In the meantime, the Canary Wharf Group would like to thank all our front-line staff and those across the Estate working through this difficult time.

Please note this list is correct as at Sunday 29 March however, in these rapidly changing circumstances we cannot confirm accuracy and you are advised to check individual store websites for updates.
