Part of the Remembrance Art Trail created by Mark Humphrey and commissioned by Canary Wharf Group in association with The Royal British Legion

Following the success of the 2016 Remembrance Art Trail, the inspirational exhibition by artist Mark Humphrey is returning to Canary Wharf, in association with the British Legion. The seven previously exhibited works of art will be on display throughout the estate alongside new pieces, creating an extended trail of 11 installations to commemorate 100 years since the end of World War One.

Mark Humphrey’s newest work, Nick Beighton Part 1 and 2, will be exhibited in the Lobby of One Canada Square, and consists of a pair of works exploring life’s trauma and triumphs, inspired by Nick Beighton, British para-canoeist and former British Army Officer. Nick’s story of finding a glimmer of hope in the devastation of war to become an athlete and compete in the Paralympics inspired Mark Humphrey to create this series to show the incredible strength that former serving personnel deploy in order to overcome trauma and loss.
