Late Bloom Festival

Marking the 10th arts festival at the award winning Crossrail Place Roof Garden, Late Bloom 2019 features a dazzling array of FREE theatre, music, spoken word, dance and family entertainment. Working in partnership with Poplar Union, this is the biggest Bloom Festival yet featuring no fewer than 27 amazing acts.

Come and discover budding performers, enjoy the sunshine and celebrate the diversity of East London talent in full bloom.

Thursday 29 August, 7-9pm: Poplar Union Scratch Night – Vijay Patel, Silent Faces, Lucy Buncombe and Hugo Worrall, BOX. theatre company, Catherine Duquette and Flo and Nick Gilbert

Friday 30 August, 7-9pm: Dance – Capoeira and Argentine Tango

Saturday 31 August: Workshops and Performances for/by young people – 10am, Sunny Jar Eco Hub, Ditto Theatre Company; 1pm, Jum Faruq, Grace Mason, SpaceWorks Summer School; 2.45pm, House of Talent, Band for LifeĀ and Moth Theatre

Sunday 1 September: Anything goes! – 10am, Piya Mayenin and others, Dominique Vannod and Emily Williams; 12 noon, Jessica Mance, The Zhensovet Ladies Vocal Group and Sunshine Kids Choir and Monica Guech; 2pm, Dr Sidrah Muntara, Laughter Yoga, Klastro and Y&T Rep Company.
