From 19 June to 5 July, the London Exhibition of the World Padel Tour allows you to see the best players in the world perform on an outdoor court in the heart of Canary Wharf and the Schools Programme is open to all East London schools to come and get active at Canary Wharf and try Padel Tennis daily between 10am-12noon and 2-4pm.
The sport is derived from tennis and has been played for over a century on a court that is a third the size of a normal tennis court and stringless rackets are used. Scoring is the same as normal tennis and the balls used are similar but with a little less pressure, the main differences are that the court has walls and the balls can be played off them in a similar way as in the game of squash.
Special Offer: During the event, quote ‘PADEL’ when visiting Giant Robot’s Little José to receive a free bottle of Estrella Damm & a portion of their signature croquetas.
