Part of Shuffle Festival
The magical world of The Insect Circus invites the audience to forget reality and become immersed in the strange and beautiful world of insects. Beetles and grasshoppers, wasps and dragonflies, demonstrate their dexterity with great skill and humour. Presented using marionettes, the show breathes new life into the traditional techniques used in Victorian trick marionettes.
The Insect Circus is brought to the Roof Garden as part of the Shuffle Festival, an annual event in Mile End. The festival exhibits creativity through film, science, performance, architectural installations, walks, food, and music. The theme of this year’s festival is Public / Private and the shows at the Roof Garden aim to highlight the public nature of the spaces at Canary Wharf.
Part of Bloom 2017 – A summer programme of festivals, performances, workshops, family shows and music
